Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer (of both online and print creative) is responsible for creating original designs and performing production graphics. We are looking for a person who not only has the creative design skills (both with online and print) but also production skills. You're a professional who can work in a fast paced environment on production and graphic solutions while adhering to and refining branding guidelines and templates. Excellent organization skills are required to successfully handle multiple projects on deadline. Must have knowledge of print process, digital images, and good communication skills.

The Graphic Designer designs and performs production for art on a variety of communications materials - everything from websites to magazine ads. As part of our small team the graphic designer must be comfortable handling many different tasks on a variety of platforms.

Major Responsibilities:

• Produce web graphics, print, and presentations from concept to final production within timeline and budgetary constraints.
  
• Maintain and report project status.
• Maintain and project high departmental standards of quality and professionalism.

Competencies/Skills:

• Thorough working knowledge of industry-standard print and presentation software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator and Dreamweaver); Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; and Quark. Working knowledge of Flash a HUGE plus.
• Superior taste and ability in graphic design, typography and color sense as well as knowledge of current design trends.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently produce a high volume of quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of all aspects of offset and digital prepress and print production processes and technology.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Three to five years experience in an ad agency or design studio.

ALL RESUMES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA
1. Around 3-5 years of both online and print graphic design experience (must include a link to your portfolio).
2. Around 2+ years of production experience.
3. Expert skills with Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator in MacOS platform.
